Reba Jo (Martin) Lawrence

January 2, 1950 ~ June 14, 2026

Reba Jo Lawrence, born January 2, 1950, to Charles and Addie Bell Martin in Bristow, Oklahoma, departed this life on June 14, 2026, at the age of 76.

Reba was raised in Bristow and graduated from Bristow High School Class of 1968. On November 7, 1967, she married the love of her life, Darrel Wayne Lawrence. Together they built a strong and loving home, and from their union came three sons who were the pride of her heart: Kenny, Danny and Kevin.

Reba was a woman who found joy in the simple, meaningful parts of life. She loved cooking meals that brought her family together, tending to her garden, and spending time with those she loved most—especially her grandchildren, who were her greatest delight. Her gentle spirit and steady presence made her a source of comfort and strength to all who knew her.

For many years, Reba served as the secretary of Gypsy Public Schools, where she greeted students, families, and staff with kindness and dedication until her retirement. Her work touched countless lives, and her warm smile was a familiar and welcome sight in the school community.

Reba is survived by two sons, Kenny Lawrence and Kevin Lawrence and his wife Heather; one sister, Peggy Jackson; three grandchildren, William Lawrence, Matthew Lawrence, and Hannah Lawrence; and one great-grandchild, Elowyn Lawrence. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Darrell Wayne Lawrence; and one son, Danny Lawrence.
