Timothy Gene Lauer

July 4, 1962 ~ February 24, 2014

Timothy Gene Lauer of Apache, Oklahoma was born July 4, 1962 in Portland, Oregon to Ronald Gene and JoAnne May [Clint] Lauer. He passed away at his home in Apache on February 24th at the age of 51.

Tim graduated from the Ford Motor Company's Mechanic School, and worked as a master mechanic for many years.

He married Valerie Brown on May 22, 1998 in Portland. They moved to Apache four years ago and he worked from his home as an auto mechanic.

He enjoyed fishing in his free time. He spent many hours with his step-son, Sean, teaching him about mechanics, but his greatest joy was spoiling his granddaughter, Roseary and spending time with the rest of his family.

He is survived by: His wife, Valerie, of the home; 3 step-sons-Ian and wife, Brittany Vala of New Orleans, LA; Sean Vala of Apache, OK; Cody Vala of Chelsea, OK; 2 granddaughters-Roseary StumblingBear and Vivian Vala; 5 sisters.

He was preceded in death by both of his grandfathers.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions to help with expenses may be sent to Crews Funeral Home in his name.
