Jana was born on August 17, 1967 in Shawnee to Carl Day and Barbara Goforth Day and passed from this life on April 4, 2016 in Okeene. She moved from Cushing in 1996 to Okeene. While in Cushing, Jana was baptized in the Cushing Nazarene Church. On March 8, 1997 Jana married Lee Laubach at Zion Baptist Church in Okeene. Jana work as a certified nursing assistant. A clean house was very important to Jana. Jana adored her grandchildren.
Those who preceded Jana in death include her parents; three brothers, a baby boy, Michael Day and Gary Day and two sisters, Carla Day and Linda Vasso.
Those surviving Jana include her husband, Lee of Okeene; children, Ashley Brook French and husband, Tyler of Crescent, Jessica Briggs of Tulsa and Michael Day of Okeene; grandchildren, Brayson French, Hadley French, Harper French, Bentley Briggs and Lucas Archer, to be born in July; one brother, James Day and wife, Gertie of Cushing; two sisters, Alena Bell and husband, Johnny of Drumright and Terry Thompson of Drumright.
Memorials may be given to the Okeene Hospital Foundation or Homestead Bible Church through the funeral home.
