Jackie Dwayne "Jack" "Bubba" Latta
September 14, 1964 ~ August 8, 2015

Jackie Dwayne Latta also lovingly known as "Jack" and "Bubba" passed this life on Saturday, August 8, 2015. He was born on September 14, 1964 in Stilwell, Oklahoma to his parents Doyle Jackson Latta and Patsy Sue (Ruckman).

 Jack moved from Florida to Wagoner in 2006, he was a 1982 graduate from Liberty Mounds High School. While living in Florida he worked several jobs one being a bartender. After he graduated high school Jack traveled the country spending time with his friends later settled down into a career in nursing. Jack was the Wagoner Care Centers Supervisor for many years, caring for many of Wagoner's residents. A few of his hobbies included mowing, gardening, swimming and just simply being outdoors. For those who knew Jack considered him to be a social butterfly who never met a stranger, no matter where he was he could always strike up a conversation and have the room full of laughter. Jack had a big heart and was glad that he had the opportunity to take care of his mom Patsy before her passing in April of 2015.He was a big kid at heart that loved to watch super heroes and help anyone who was in need.

Jack was preceded in death by his mother Patsy Schooley and step dad Roy Schooley.

Left to cherish his memories and carry on his life legacy of being a caretaker is his dad Doyle Jackson Latta, two sisters Kimberly Wells and Tracy Hayes and her husband Stephen. Nieces Lacey Ashley and her husband Aaron, Madison Hayes, Terra Wells and Kyra Tebro, nephew Cooper Hayes, great nephew Vance Ashley and great niece Allison Ashley. Along with many other special friends who will miss his outgoing personality and laughs dearly.

A celebration of life service for Jack will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., with Todd Foreman officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Shipman Funeral Home & Crematory.
