Katherine Jean Lasater, 56, of Ponca City, OK, died on February 7, 2026, in Ponca City, OK. Viewing will be held between 11:00 am and 8:00 pm, Wednesday, February 18, 2026. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Ponca City Assembly. Burial will take place at Lubbock Cemetery, Lubbock, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.

Katherine was born on August 11, 1969, in Lubbock, TX, to Wanda Lauver Williams. Her passion for photography became her profession.

Katherine is survived by: her partner, Mark Bernard of Ponca City, OK; sons, Steven Vennum of New Mexico, Curtis Speede of Ponca City, OK, William Speede of Connecticut, Richard Martinez of Lubbock, TX; daughters, Gloria Martinez of Lubbock, TX, Angelica Castillo and Selena Mireles, both of Ponca City, OK.

Pallbearers will be Luis Castillo, James Matthiessen, Frederick Schul, Samuel Carter, Mark Bernard, and Christian Dobbins
