Carol (Skinner) Larkin

November 18, 1945 ~ December 21, 2022

The Memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of Carol Larkin, 77, of Enid, are pending. Complete Cremation care and services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Carol was born November 18, 1945, to Wesley A. and Thelma I. Reinecke Skinner, in Great Bend, Kansas and passed from this life December 21, 2022, in Enid, Oklahoma.

She was raised and educated in Heizer, Kansas until she was fifteen when the family moved to Great Bend, Kansas for eight years. In 1968 she moved to Enid, Oklahoma where she married William “Bill” Larkin May 10, 1970. The couple moved to Sallisaw, Oklahoma where they managed a trailer park. In 1973 they moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas and then Wright, Oklahoma until 1980 when they returned to Enid and made their home permanently.

According to Carol's sons, she lived life to her hearts content.

She is survived by her husband Bill, of the home; sons Rickey McReynolds, of Kodak, Tennessee and Walter and Shari Larkin, of Enid; daughter Kay Ann McReynolds, of Enid, seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings.
