Grover "Charles" Lanier was born September 17, 1940 in Raton, New Mexico, to Woodrow and Vivian Lanier. He departed this life November 26, 2021 at the age of 81 years, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He lived in Westville all his life and attended and graduated from Westville High School. He enjoyed all aspects of life. In his early years, it was hunting, hot roding and running with his friends. After High School, it was rodeo, horses, roping, family and running with his friends. Later on when things slowed down, it turned to spending time with family and loved ones.
He is survived by his wife of over 34 years Debbie of the home; daughters Leeanna Lanier of Westville, Wendy Dick of Tulsa, Jamie Lentz and husband Tre of Tulsa and April Ellis and husband Danny Jo Ritter of Bixby, OK; sons Bob Lamont and wife Becky of Kansas, OK, Matt Lamont and wife Donna of Kansas, OK, and Justin Lamont and wife Jalamie of Kansas, OK; sisters Peg Nazarali and husband Alex of Siloam Springs, AR and Patsy Shaffer and husband Alan of Shawnee, OK; 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Woodrow and Vivian Lanier; his son Jimmy Lanier; and brother, Jerry Don Lanier.
Funeral Service was held, 2:00 PM, December 3, 2021 at the Roberts & Hart Funeral home, Westville, OK.
