Carrie Lee (Thomas) Lanier

June 17, 1949 ~ July 20, 2021

Celebration of Life Service for Carrie Lee Lanier, 72, of Enid, will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2021, in the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ethan Stoking officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

Carrie was born June 17, 1949, in San Diego, CA, to Howard and Donnice (Richey) Thomas and passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2021, in Enid.

She married the love of her life, Phil S. Lanier on December 6, 1963. This 57-year union brought their son Phil S. Lanier II, daughter Kimberly A. Kerns and daughter JoAnn M. Luttell. In addition, they have eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. Carrie is also survived by a brother Alfred Thomas, stepbrother Terry Costello, half-sister Robin Stricklen, half-sister Cherly Piera. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, stepfather Harold Costello, half-sister Billie Shahann, half-brother Harold Costello Jr., stepbrothers Bobby and Billy Anderson, stepsister Beverly Anderson (Freeman), stepmothers Edna Costello and Kay Thomas.
