Floyd Leroy Lanham, 81-year-old resident of Vici, OK, passed from this life on March 13, 2019 in Vici, OK. Floyd was born November 24, 1937 to Louis and Alma (Watkins) Lanham in Cortez, CO. At the age five, Floyd moved to Fargo, OK where he attended school and graduated with the class of 1957. In 1957 Floyd moved to Woodward, OK.
In November of 1957, Floyd married Darlene Faye Barker in Woodward, OK. Floyd and Darlene had two children Darla Dawn and Jeff Don. The family lived in Woodward till 1967, Enid till 1972, back to Woodward till 1988, and finally Vici where Floyd lived until his passing. Floyd worked as a dispatcher for the oilfield. He faithfully served in the army from 1958-1963. He was a member of the Senior Citizens in Vici. Floyd loved to collect and repair clocks.
Floyd is preceded in death by his parents Louis and Alma Lanham, one sister Rena Schoenhals, two brothers Hebert and Charles Lanham, one grandson Dusty Martin, three brothers-in-law Willie Loucks, Dean Watkins, and Jim Barker, one sister-in-law Lola Cunningham
He is survived by his wife of the home Darlene Lanham; daughter Darla Martin of Woodward, OK; son Jeff Lanham and wife Juddena of Arnett, OK; seven grandchildren Bobbie Carey and husband Chris of Mooreland, OK, Barry Martin of Woodward, OK, Justice Lanham of Woodward, OK, Kenyon Lanham of Woodward, OK, Heather Kilgore, Sydney Kilgore, and Bradon Miller; two great grandkids Pazlee and Konner Kilgore; sister Deloris Daugherty of Arapaho, OK; brother-in-law Wayne Daugherty of Arapaho, OK; sister-in-law Ada Loucks; brother Donald Lanham, an aunt and many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
