Jill Renea McGlasson Lane, 53, passed away at her Barnsdall home on July 16, 2017.
Jill was born on June 2, 1964 in Arkansas City, Kansas to parents Loyd and Judith Trenary McGlasson. Jill attended Peckham, Oklahoma Schools until the 8th grade, then went on to High School in Newkirk, Oklahoma. Jill was both a cheerleader and on the Honor Roll at Newkirk, and was a member of the 1983 graduating class there.
For several years, Jill worked as a supervisor at a loan company, until
her health no longer made that possible.
Jill loved to be outdoors
whenever possible. She enjoyed water skiing, boating, camping, and tending
to her garden. Jill once had a 1970 Chevelle, and she loved to talk about
old cars and hot roads, and she dreamed of owning a Chevelle Super Sport.
Jill was considered to be an expert carpentry and woodworking consultant and supervisor. She loved watching things being built, and knew exactly how it should be done. Jill was also known to be a storyteller, and her main tales and ability to spin a good yarn will be greatly missed.
The most important thing in Jill's life was her family. She was devoted to them, and was so proud of all of them. She loved to spend time with her children and especially her grandchildren. She was a talented cook, and loved to fix family favorites such as chicken and noodles, and goulash.
She is survived by daughter Tatum Hutchison and husband Jacob Groves of Bartlesville; son Tommy Hutchison and wife Katie of Bartlesville; grandchildren Jayden Hutchison, Paytin Hutchison, Kassidy Hutchison, Karly Hutchison, Taigin Hutchison, Kayleigh Groves and Karson Groves; brother Jeff Morrow of Springdale, Arkansas; father Loyd McGlasson and wife Connie of Salt Lake City, Utah; mother Judith McGlasson of Bartlesville and boyfriend of 3 years Frank Vogler of Barnsdall.
