William Richard "Dick" Landry

November 23, 1936 ~ January 28, 2017

Private Burial

William Richard "Dick" Landry departed this life on January 28, 2017, at the age of 80, in Woodward, Oklahoma. Dick was born on November 23, 1936 to Joseph William and Florence Landry in Duxbury, Massachusetts. Dick attended school at Duxbury High School, and graduated high school class of 1955. He was a member of Glee and Library Service and Audio Visual Club. Dick was a B.A.R Gunner in the United States Marine Corp.

Dick lived in serval states New York, Florida, Arizona, New Hampshire, Maine. He spent most of his time in Massachusetts (Bridgewater, Brockton, Duxbury, and Middleboro), he spent the last 13 years in Oklahoma. Where he attended Bible Baptist Church and he had accepted Christ as his Savior.

Dick was an avid stamp and coin collector for many years. He loved animals and to crochet. His favorite late year passion was movies and vinyl records. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Florence Landry, Christine partner for 28 years, and Florence partner and friend for 15+ years.

He is survived by Florence�s children, Kathleen Wright, of Woodward, Joanne Sheenan, MA, Kim Brodeur, RI, Kenneth Sharpe, WA and Tommy Sharpe, NC. Multitudes of grandchildren including Mike Todd of Lawton OK, Tammy and husband Dana Sommers and Jay and Bobbi Wright of Woodward Oklahoma, Peter and wife Emily Wright of Beaumont Texas; His great niece Yvonne Marie Landry of Woodward Oklahoma. Dick had many great grandchildren including Zachary, Samantha, Toby, Troy, Aislinn, and Fianna. He had 1 great, great granddaughter, Daisy Mae.

William Richard "Dick" Landry was a well, loved man and will be missed by friends and family both in Oklahoma and the road that lead him to us.
