James William "Jim" Lambert
September 23, 1939 ~ December 30, 2018

James William "Jim" Lambert was lovingly called home to his Lord and Savior on December 30, 2018, with family at his side. He served the Lord faithfully and adored his wife, Joy L. Lambert and family. Jim was born on September 23, 1939, in Hopeton, Oklahoma, to Clifford and Lorena Lambert. Jim moved his family from Oklahoma to Plano, Texas, in 1972 and retired from Richland Community College as a media specialist in 2005 with three years of additional service.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Joan Kassik.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Joy; three loving daughters and sons-in-law; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister; a brother and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will commence at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2019, at the First Christian Church, 813 E. 15th Street, Plano, Texas 75074. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Park.
