Tara F. Lahr, a beautiful cherished soul left this life too soon on Monday August 19, 2019 at the age of 30 years 1 month and 27 days. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Candice Lahr on June 23, 1989. A Celebration of her life will be at 10:00 AM Saturday September 7, 2019 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel, 121 North 5th Street, Durant, Oklahoma.
Tara was the type of person others were drawn to. She enjoyed anything having to do with Marilyn Monroe and watching scary movies and TV shows. Tara loved to relax with her adult coloring book while the beauty of the picture would unfold. She liked to travel whenever she could see new places. Tara had a special place in her heart for her dog Zia, she cherished the unconditional love. She considered the relationship she had with her mom one of the greatest blessings of her life, along with all the friends she held dear.
Tara is survived by her mother, Candice Lahr of Durant, Oklahoma: step-father, Harry Spiller of Marion, Illinois: cousins, Glen Grote and wife Diane, Elise Kent Shelly, Matthew Kent, Thomas Kent, Amanda Kent Ford, Candice Kent, John Paul Kent, and Michael Kent: godmother, Becky (Severson) Curtis and husband Cliff of Glenwood, Iowa: aunt, Teresa Haag Kent of Neosho Falls, Kansas: and numerous other cousins.
Tara was preceded in death by her grandmother, Frances Ann (Green) Donovan and grandfather, Glenn Joesph Haag Jr.
