Ella Winiferd Ladd was born June 24, 1919, in Warner, Oklahoma, to Rachel [Fields] and Clarence Kellogg.
She moved to Oklahoma in 1961 from Shamrock, Texas and moved to Chickasha in 1974. Ella was employed by Chickasha Mobil Homes and Grady Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed flowers and gardening.
Ella passed away June 8, 2007 at 87 years of age.
Survivors include her sons, Lynn Ladd and his wife, Mary, of Blanchard; Kenneth Ladd and his wife, Patsy, of Grand Prairie, Texas; Leon Ladd and his wife, Nita, of Chickasha; Glen Dale Ladd and his wife, Donna, of Chickasha; daughter, Pat Fraser, of Chickasha; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brother, Mike Kellogg, of Virginia; sisters, Marie Campbell, of Oklahoma City, Alice Kenedy of Mannsville, Arkansas; numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Bill and C.S., a sister, Faye, granddaughter, Laura Leann, grandson, Glen Ray Kirkland.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at the Gospel Lighthouse in Anadarko. Reverend Gary Butler will officiate with interment held in the Shamrock Cemetery, Shamrock, Texas. Arrangements made by Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard.
