Cole Kugel

March 14, 1902 ~ June 11, 2007

A memorial service for Cole Kugel, 105, of Longmont, Colo., will be 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, Longmont. Private entombment will precede the service at Longmont Mountain View Cemetery. Arrangements are by Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, Longmont. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

He was born March 14, 1902, in Oklahoma Territory near Lamont to John and Rose Vacin Kugel and died Monday, June 11, 2007, at his home.

He graduated from Oklahoma A&M; College in 1925. He farmed in Oklahoma. He married Mildred in 1936 and moved to Longmont in 1943, where he continued to farm.

He was a member of International Flying Farmers, St. Vrain Lodge No. 23 A.F.&A.M.;, El Jebel Shrine, Air Patrol and First Methodist Church.

Surviving are four nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home, 326 Terry Street, Longmont, CO 80501 to Shrine Crippled Children�s Hospital or Hospice Care of Boulder and Broomfield counties.
