Memorial service for Cheryl Lea Kruse, 56, of Fairmont, is 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 24, 2017, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Timothy Dorsch officiating.
Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.
Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday evening 5:00-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Cheryl was born June 3, 1961, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Robert and Marjorie (Anderson) Yates, and passed away on Monday at her home in Fairmont.
Cheryl grew up in and graduated from high school in Louisville, Kentucky. She married Ricky Bisig and they made their home in Enid, with their two boys.
Cheryl later married Darrell Kruse on May 18, 1991, in Enid, and they lived in Fairmont.
She worked at Nemeha Salt Water in Kremlin, and was on the town board of Fairmont.
Cheryl enjoyed family time, holidays, vacations and relaxing at home with her husband. She loved going on vacation, especially at the beach.
Cheryl loved her two rescue dogs, Indy and Dexter, and referred to them as her fur babies.
Cheryl is survived by her husband Darrell; three children, Bradley Bisig (Kaci), Dustin Bisig (Magen), and Alysha Kruse, all of Enid; eight grandchildren; her mother Marjorie Yates of Enid; three brothers, Robert Yates, John Yates, both of Louisville, Kentucky, and Dr. David Yates (Janet) of Evansville, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to OMRF-Arthritis.
