Visitation for Arthur Kriewall was held from 9:00 a.m. To 10:00 a.m. on Thursday,January 31, 2013 with funeral services beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Owasso with Pastor Mark Neumann officiating. Mr. Kriewall was transported to Port Hope Michigan for services and interment at Marquardt Cemetery, in Port Hope. Funeral Services for Art in was held on Monday, February, 4, 2013 at 1 PM, at St. John Lutheran Church, with Rev. Greg Eilers officiating. Burial followed in the Marquardt Cemetery. Visitation was on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach from 1-6pm, with a scripture service taking place at 6 PM. Visitation on Monday was in the church starting at 12 noon until time of services at 1pm
Arthur "Art" Kriewall was born June 5, 1929 to Ralph Edward and Hulda Augustia (Pochert) Kriewall at Port Hope, Michigan,. Art died at the age of 83 years on Monday, January 28, 2013, in Owasso, Oklahoma. He was reared and educated in Michigan and graduated with the Port Hope High School Class of 1947 and continued his education attending Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, where he earned his degree in electrical engineering. He was also a veteran of the armed forces having served his country honorably as a pilot with the United States Air Force.
He and Sharon Lee Clancy were married June 20, 1959, in Detroit. He spent most of his working life as an electrical engineer with McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a faithful member of Faith Lutheran Church in Owasso. After retirement, he worked as a bus driver in Missouri and in Owasso for the school system. His favorite pastimes including working on cars and restoring vintage tractors.
He is survived by his wife of over 53 years; Sharon, of the home Two sons; Kevin Kriewall and his wife Cheryl, of Claremore, OK Randy Kriewall, of St. Louis, Missouri Daughter; Katie Langelier and her husband Ernie, of Grand Junction, Colorado Two grandchildren; Kalise Kriewall Caitlin Kriewall Brother; John Kriewall and his wife Marla, of Port Hope, Michigan
Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers, Victor Kriewall and William Kriewall, and a sister, Ottilia Sonik.
