Brent E. Kretzer passed away too young at 46 years, but he lived a full life. Brent was a very active and determined little boy, as his mother recalls, stating he learned to ride his bike in one day not quitting till he got it! Brent always had a huge heart, caring about others. As a young man he began roofing to help others, later turning it into a business for himself.
He left a lot of friends in Kokomo Indiana, to come to Oklahoma to be near his mother and sister, nieces and nephews. Coming to Oklahoma changed his life and gave him the blessing of his life, his son, Emery. Brent continued helping others and got into smoking meats. Known as the "Hogman" at barbeque judging's and barbeque cook-offs; his son, Emery, known as "Ribtip". Brent was active in Karate with his son, achieving a Black Belt. Brent worked as a machinist for Spears Manufacturing for the past 10 years. Brent's final act of helping his fellowman was the gift of organ donations, saving at least one life.
