Peggy "P.J." Krenn, resident of Ponca City, passed away in Ponca City, Oklahoma on Monday, September 12, 2016 at the age of 72 years old.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2016 at Second Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Newport officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
Peggy was born October 27, 1943 in El Cajon, California to W.R. & Hazel Stieber. She moved to Ponca City, Oklahoma with her family and graduated Ponca City High School in 1961.
After graduation she moved to Colorado. In 1962 she married
Harvey Humble and they had a daughter, Tracey.
Later she and Tracey
moved to Kildare, OK and in 1977 she married Steve Krenn. They had a son
Justin as well as a daughter Kalen. In 1988 she and the kids moved to Ponca
City where she remained.
Peggy had many adventurous occupations including working in an underground Molybdenum mine in Colorado, managing a hotel, driving an asphalt truck, working on a farm bottle feeding calves, hostess at a restaurant, and working in a manufacturing plant.
Peggy loved to cut up and have a good time. She enjoyed dancing, playing games, and spending time with family. She made life long friends everywhere she went. She could always make you laugh, as she was the life and entertainment of every event. Her favorite things include: collecting everything, Willie Nelson and throwback Mountain Dew.
She is survived by her daughter Tracey & husband Scott Biddle of Ponca City, son Justin Krenn & wife Stephanie of Ponca City, and daughter Kalen & husband Richard Morgan of Tonkawa. Eleven grandkids: Leah Crowell, Nathan Larson, Levi Biddle, Hannah Larson, Logan Krenn, Brooklyn Krenn, Braden Barney, Cody, Jake, Ryan, and baby Tate Morgan. Three great grandchildren: Grant & Maddy Crowell and Tucker Larson. Brothers: Bill, Howard, and Jim Stieber and their spouses and her sister Betty Horinek and husband.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
