Mary Lee Kosec, 76, of Midwest City, Oklahoma died Saturday, Sep. 29, 2007 at her residence. Born October 10, 1930 in Barboursville, VA to Hazel and Pribble Powell.
Mary worked at the Orange Silk Mill in Orange, VA and then NSA in Washington D.C.. It was there she met and married Robert. The Air Force took them many places: Hawaii, Italy, Louisiana and finally Oklahoma. Mary earned her Associates Degree, alongside her daughter, Margaret, at Rose State College in 1983. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.
Preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Marshall, P.A., and Winston Powell; sisters: Marion, Virginia, Buella, and Lillie.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert; daughter, Margaret Anne Kosec of Clarksville, TN; son, John Markham Kosec and wife Jeanette of MWC, OK; 2 grandsons; Evan and Tyler Kosec; 2 sisters: Martha Ann Aiken and husband Al of Riverdale, MD and Evelyn 'Sis' Birchby of Waldorf, MD.

Services for Mary will be Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at 7:00 pm at Barnes & Johnson F.H. Chapel .
