Beverly was born on December 26, 1951 in San Diego, California to George R. English and Doris Thomas English and passed from this life on December 16, 2020 in Enid. Beverly graduated from Enid High School. She married Dwight Koehn on October 27, 1974 at Medford Mennonite Church. To this union seven children were born: Hillary, Aaron, Jesse, Matthew, Jon, Benjamin, and Devin. Beverly’s work history includes Thilstead Electric, Ramada Inn and Best Western front desk manager, administrative assistant for the Department of Correction, and Enid Walmart. Beverly was an avid reader. She loved her kids and grandkids. She loved soccer, where she coached, referred, and was also an avid fan. As Beverly’s children were growing up, she served as vacation bible school director at Grace Mennonite Church and now is a member of Lahoma First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School. She loved rocking babies in the nursery. She was always the ‘taxi driver’ for her kids and friends.
Those who preceded Beverly in death include her mother, Doris; brother, Randy Scott; father, George English; step mother, Dorothy English; brother-in-law, Byron Koehn, and step brother, Michael Jung.
Survivors include her husband, Dwight Koehn; seven children, Hillary Dodson and James, Aaron and Juliann Koehn, Jesse and Carly Koehn, Matthew and Stephanie Koehn, Jon and Melissa Koehn, Benjamin Koehn, and Devin and Shae Koehn; nineteen grandchildren; sister, Cheryl Miller and husband, Wayne; brother, Donald English; step sister, Sandy Ross; sister-in-law, Sandra Foreaker and husband, Roger; sister-in-law, Karen Koehn.
Memorial service for Beverly will be Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Lahoma First Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena. www.lanmanmemorials.com Facebook: Lanman Funeral Home Inc.
