 Douglas R Klufa, age 78, of Ponca City, Oklahoma passed away December 17th, 2020 at Alliance Health in Ponca City, Oklahoma.

Doug was born on November 30, 1942 in Enid, Oklahoma to Raymond and Genna Vee (Young) Klufa. He grew up in Ponca City. Attended Braden School and Graduated from Ponca City High School in 1960. Following High School, he completed college at NOC. Upon college, he worked at First National Bank. He also did custom harvesting and then later retired from the Boat House.

Doug married Naomi (Susie) Franklin on April 27, 1994 in Ponca City. He enjoyed traveling and horseback riding with his wife, children and grandchildren. Doug was very involved at First Lutheran Church, he served as a Deacon of the Church. His biggest joy was when his family came to see him, and daily phone calls with friends. He also loved talking, a lot! He never knew a stranger.

Survivors include his wife of the home Susie Klufa; Children: Richard Klufa of Tulsa, Ricky Ritter of Ponca City, Marie and husband Mike Coffman of Ponca City, Shane Ritter of Ponca City, Daena Rowley of Tx; grandchildren: Gina, Flynn, John, Elisabeth, Caleb, Grace, Michael and wife Chelsea Clinton, Joshua Clinton, Ashley and husband Michael Peterson, Krissy and husband Chris Finney, Bethany and husband Chris Lawe, Richard Ritter , Michael Ritter; great-grandchildren: Bradey, Karlie, Maddox, Paisley, Kash, and Aspen.

Preceding in death were his parents, and sibling, Greg Klufa.

Susie would like to give a special thank you to Angels Home Health for the wonderful care they gave him. A special thanks to Kim, Taylor and Becky and to all the rest of the staff. You always made him smile even when he wasn't feeling well.
