Marilyn Francine (Brewer) Kitchel
January 19, 1932 ~ February 5, 2021 (age 89)

Marilyn “Francine” Kitchel, 89, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 in Norman, Oklahoma.

She was born January 19, 1932 to Beryl and Alice (Morrel) Brewer in Macomb, Oklahoma.

Francine moved to California with her family in 1941 where she lived most of her adult life. She was raised in Buena Park, California, where she graduated from Buena Park High School.

Francine married Robert “Bob” Kitchel in Buena Park.

Francine was a nurse for many years at St. Judes and Martin Luther Hospitals. A highlight of her career was helping to deliver her first grandson, Tommy Donovan, in 1979.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; and her parents, Beryl and Alice Brewer.

Survivors include, 3 daughters, Shannon Deatherage, Kelly Donovan, and Dana Cornett, all of California; 9 grandchildren, Morgan Lowery, Danielle Gonzales, Nicole Deatherage, Tommy Donovan, Shawn Donovan, Brianna Donovan, MaKayla Ribaudo, Riley Silvers and Alyssa Silvers; and 7 great-grandchildren, all of California; one sister, Nona Buley of Tecumseh, OK; 2 nephews, Randy Kenyon of Shawnee, OK and Jerrel Buley of Harrah, OK; and other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Cooper Funeral Home. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Glen Williams officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
