Janice Ann Kirkland, 77, of Blanchard, passed away on October 11, 2024. The daughter of Ferrice Floyd Fore and Hazel Lucille (Horn) Fore, Janice was born on March 16, 1947, in Washington, Oklahoma.
Janice grew up in Lexington but lived in several places including North Carolina, Enid, Wayne, Norman and Blanchard. She was a member of Crossroad to Life Baptist Church. She loved to cook and crotchet. She also enjoyed working on word puzzles and playing Bingo. Janice also loved working in her vegetable and flower gardens. Janice loved her grandkids and spending time with them. She called them every day to talk with them and hear their voices.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Kirkland; son, Melvin Wiseman; brother, Jerry Fore; and sister, Patricia Willingham.
Janice is survived by her son, Patrick Orville Wiseman and wife Amber Dixon; four grandchildren, Christopher Kelley, Jr., Landon Dixon, Matthew Wiseman, and Brianna Dixon; one great granddaughter, Haisley Berry; one brother, Roy Dale Fore and wife Cheryl; and other loving family members and friends.
A private memorial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
