Louella Kirk, daughter of Roy F and Minnie (Carlton) Nunn, was born on February 18, 1937 in Swain, Arkansas and passed from this life on January 18, 2016 in Westville, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years at her home.
She loved her family and cherished her time with them. Louella enjoyed creating an atmosphere of warmth and comfort in their home to welcome friends and family whenever they visited.
She married Ray Kirk on May 9, 1959 and they moved to the family farm, where they raised their 3 children, Michael, Raylene and Don. Her life revolved around raising her children and helping maintain the farm. After her children were raised, she worked at Baldor Electric for 10 years, where she made many friends. As her grandchildren grew she always made time for them. In time when the great grandchildren came, they became the light of her life. The children continue with the tradition of tending the family farm.
Her husband: Ray A. Kirk, parents: Roy and Minnie Nunn, brother: Rufus Proctor, sisters: Meta Carlton, Lena Sisk, Sylvia Lee, Ruby Newman and infant sister, June preceded her in death.
Her life, love and memory will be remembered and kept close to the hearts of those that survive her. They include her children: Michael Kirk, Raylene Brown, Donald Kirk, all of Westville, OK, grandchildren: Amber Kirk, Hayley Brown, Jason Kirk and wife Jarrica, Micah Kirk, C.J. Brown, Cooper Kirk, brothers: Earl Proctor and wife Frances of Mossville, AR, Junior Proctor and wife Marie of Ponca, AR, great grandchildren: Kase Ingram, Preslee Hammer, Rylee Kirk, Chance Craig, Oak Kirk, Essie Kirk and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Roberts & Hart Chapel, Westville, Oklahoma with Bro. Darrel Self officiating. Interment followed at Ganderville Cemetery, Summers, Arkansas.
