Letitia Ann (Hobbs) Kirchhofer
October 10, 1956 ~ August 3, 2018 

Letitia Ann Hobbs Kirchhofer of Caney, Kansas, passed away on Friday Aug. 3rd, 2018, at Bartlesville, Oklahoma, at Jane Phillips Hospital. Cremation has taken place.

Letitia was born October 30, 1956, in Coffeyville, Kansas, to Jesse Hobbs and Wanda (Daniel) Shutte. Letitia lived in many places growing up before her parent's separation; and her, mom, and siblings: sister DeJuana and Janine, and brothers Jesse and Lewis Hobbs settled in Caney, Kansas, where she attended school and later graduated Caney High School in 1974.

Letitia stayed in Caney and started a life with who became her first husband Kenneth Kirchhofer, married in 1975, and later had a child Kristy (Kirchhofer) Caswell in 1976. The couple later separated. Letitia continued her life in Caney, Kansas, working odd jobs and later met her most recent companion, Terry Mitchell. They moved to Havana in 1979, and in 1980 had a child Shanna (Mitchell) Wilson. They moved around after that but settled back in Caney, Kansas.

Tisha enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and fishing at Hulah Lake with family and friends. She later became unable to work and be as active as she liked due to health issues and developed other hobbies, such as gardening, planting things, collecting things, crocheting blankets, and spending time her grandkids. 

Survivors include her partner of 40 years, Terry Mitchell of Caney, Kansas, two daughters, Kristy Caswell and husband Josh Caswell of Peru, Kansas, and Shanna Wilson and husband John Wilson of Caney, Kansas, and two sisters, DeJuana Hobbs of Wagoner, Oklahoma and Janine Smith of Austin, Texas, and two brothers, Jesse Hobbs of North Carolina and Lewis Hobbs of Marquand, Missouri.

Letitia has 11 grandchildren and no great grandchildren.

Letitia is preceded in death by both parents.

Memorial service is set for Wednesday, Aug. 8th, 2018, at the Cross Point Baptist Church in Caney, Kansas, at 10 A.M. All are welcome.
