Mary Helen Kinney went to be with Christ her Savior on Saturday morning, January 27, 2018, at her home with her husband, Gene, of 66 years of marriage and her immediate family by her side.
Mary was preceded in death by her mom and dad, Willie Jasper and Dovie May Alexander Moore, her brothers, Vernon and Zelphra Moore of Bartlesville, David Moore of San Antonio, and Merle (Cub) Moore of Ramona.
She is survived by Eugene (Gene) Kinney of Ramona, Scott and Sue Kinney of Yukon OK, Brent Kinney of Bartlesville, and Brian and Amy Kinney of Ramona, grandchildren, Bethany Henderson and husband Steven of Yukon, Crystal Hinspeter of Dewey OK, Nathan Kinney and wife Heather of Yukon, Drew Kinney of Ochelata OK, Belinda Briscoe and husband Michael of Edmond, OK, Kaleb Kinney and wife Kacie of Yukon, Kylee Abel and husband Joshua of Ramona, and Seth and Carson Kinney of Ramona. Mary also has 12 great grandchildren.
Mary worked much of her life outside the home, retiring from Phillips Petroleum. Mary was always active in church, and served faithfully in First Baptist Ramona, especially the third and fourth grade class, and she was a Bible teacher of the ladies, and the Associational Director of WMU for Washington/Osage Baptist Assoc. She also served as church clerk for many years.
She loved gardening and her flowers, decorating her home, cooking especially with her granddaughters, garage sales, was an avid reader, a lover of poetry, vacations with kin folk, and her family so much. From her parents, to her in-laws, her boys and their families, and especially her grandchildren, there has never been a better MeMe.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Mary Kinney's memory be given to Alzheimer's Association, Oklahoma Chapter, Dept. 2845, Tulsa, OK 74182.
