Kenny King, 87 year old Woodward resident, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023 at his home. Per his request there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Paul Kenneth King was born on June 5, 1936 in Sentinel, Oklahoma to Odell Woodrow and Helen Naomi (Burton) King. He grew up in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1956. He was united in marriage to Dixie Ann Grunewald in 1956 and they were blessed with four children: Buck, Bing, Beau, and Mikki. Kenny was inducted into the United States Navy in 1956 and served on the USS Lexington. He was honorably discharged in 1960.
He was married to Wanda Abbey in 1993 and they were married until 2021. Kenny enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting and he loved being with his family, friends, and grandkids.
He is survived by his sons: Buck King and wife Roberta of Montana, Bing King and wife Carol of Woodward, Beau King and wife Robyn of Texas; one daughter, Mikki McIntosh and husband Jeff of Mooreland; grandchildren: LeiAnn Syms, Jim, Mike, Caleb, Dylan and Dalton King, Mike, Anna, and Addie York; great-grandchildren: Madison and Cayden Syms and Jaxon and Delilah King; one brother Richard King and wife Carolyn of Texas; his former wives, Dixie Stricker and Wanda King; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Darrel King, one granddaughter Jessica King and one grandson Daniel King.
