Hazel Jade King

October 23, 2014 ~ October 23, 2014

Hazel Jade King, our little Blue Butterfly, was born in Elk City, Oklahoma to Lachelle Nixon and Colton King at 10:51 am on October 23, 2014, weighing 5 lbs, 12 ounces and 18 inches long. She went to her Heavenly Home a few short hours later that day.

The day of her arrival was anxiously awaited by her entire family and they will treasure the precious time they got to spend with her. Even though there are many unanswered questions, she was loved more in a few hours than most people are in a lifetime. The Bible says, "Don't be afraid, just believe", so we will. We can trust that she is in Heaven and now she can spread her wings and fly because she's our little piece of blue sky.

She is survived by her parents, Colton and Lachelle, her grandparents, Joshua and Christina Dove, Elk City, OK, Rick and Judy Nixon, Woodward, OK, Martha and Orren Harris, Canute, OK, Clayton and Gabrielle King, Wichita Falls, TX; great grandparents, Dean Jay and Jean Webb, Elk City, OK, Dick and Jeannie Parks, Reydon, OK, Jim and Sally King, Sayre, OK; her special aunts, Kellie Hurtgam, Elk City, OK, Jesi Sullivan, Elk City, OK, Katie King, Wichita Falls, TX, Carlie Jay, Elk City, OK, Laura Webb, Elk City, OK; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Service Tuesday, October 28, 2014, 12:00 P.M.
