Elmer Wilson 'Skip' King Jr.
June 14, 1932 ~ March 25, 2023

Mr. Elmer 'Skip' Wilson King Jr., age 90, passed away on March 25, 2023, in Tulsa, OK. Skip spent most of his life in Oklahoma City and Tanglewood Acres, Colorado.

Elmer was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Elmer W. King Sr. and Essie L. King. Skip married Betty Aikman of Oklahoma City, OK on June 12, 1955, in El Reno, OK. Betty was the love of his life, and they were married for 55 years until her death in 2011.

Skip was preceded in death by his wife, Betty King and his father and mother, Elmer W. King Sr. and Essie L. King.

Skip studied mechanical engineering at the University of Oklahoma.

Skip was a fighter pilot in the USAF where he and Betty were stationed in Germany and France. Skip retired from the military as a C-130 pilot at the Oklahoma Air National Guard at Will Rogers World Airport and was a member of the Gray Eagles.

Skip was the owner of Kingcraft Homes, a Custom Homes Building Business.

Skip was the longest living member of Tanglewood Acres, Colorado. He was an avid pilot, car fanatic and football fan. Skip was an enthusiast of anything scientific, mechanical, or gadget like. He loved tinkering, building, and repairing stuff.

Survivors include son, Victor King and wife Kelly; son, Gary King and wife Kim; and daughter, Sherry Kenin and husband Rick. Eight grandchildren include Taylor King and wife Sarah, Conner King and wife Tina, Abigail King, Courtney Webster and husband Gaige, Corbin King and wife Olivia, Jacob Kenin, Libby King, and Zachary Kenin; and four great grandchildren include Rory King, Henry King, Bear King and Luken Webster.

Visitation will be held March 30th from 9am-8pm with family on site from 6pm-8pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home in Bethany, OK.

Memorial services for Mr. Elmer King Jr. will be held on Friday, March 31 at 2:00 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel in Bethany, OK.
