Patricia Jean Kindred, loving wife, mother, “Grandma Pat,” friend, resident of Bartlesville, Oklahoma went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 28th, 2018 after a brief illness. She was the daughter of Charles Alvin McCowan and Daisy Faye McCowan. She had one sibling, Charlotte Bowman.
She was a graduate of College High School. She met Ronald Kindred, who was stationed at the Air Force base in Bartlesville. They married and had two daughters, Vicki and Marla.
She was a social butterfly. She enjoyed her friends at the 55 plus club, dancing with the JP dance club, traveling, shopping, volunteer work, going to Burger King to drink coffee with her possy, where they would discuss how to solve the world’s problems. She was a member of the Dewey United Methodist Church, where she was very active. She loved baking cookies, especially at Christmas. She was known for her cookies, baked ham, and homemade mac-n-cheeze. She enjoyed walking to her mailbox daily to get her mail, sitting in her chair with Pretty Boy, her yellow cat. She enjoyed mowing her grass with her riding mower.
