Edith Fay Kidd was born April 11, 1944 in Shamrock, Texas to Nellie May (Pierce) and Jim Howell. She passed away July 28, 2018 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years, 3 month and 17 days.
Edith grew up in Shamrock and was married to Arlin Kidd on April 11, 1961 in Alma, Arkansas. They lived in Alma before moving to Shamrock in 1962. Edith worked for the school at Kelton, Texas and Shamrock before moving back to Arkansas in 1989. They moved to Erick, Oklahoma in 1995 to make their home. Edith was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 son, Ben Kidd and 1 grandson, Ralph Alves.
She is survived by her four children; Richard Kidd and wife, Carol, Teresa Wheeler and husband, Carol, Erick, OK, Larry Kidd, Erick, OK, Arlene White, Van Buren, AR, 2 sisters, Linda Driskell, Elkton, KY, Minnie Piercy, Las Vegas, NV, 1 brother, Jackie Howell, Las Vegas, NV, 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.
