Patrick Reese Kerr of Mead died Dec. 20, 2022, in Denison, Texas, after a brief illness.
Pat was born Nov. 12, 1953 in Oceanside, California. The son of Samuel L. & Omega Virginia (Baldwin) Kerr. He grew up on the east coast in North Carolina and loved to surf. Pat had an aquarium store in McAlester in the 70s and ran, “Pat’s Painting” in the Durant area for years later on. He was a very creative and artistic individual and loved playing drums and bass in several local bands. We miss Pat very much!
Pat was preceded in death by his parents Sam & Ginny Kerr, Mead and grandson Nathan Fitts. Pat is survived by his family, daughters Jenny and (Devin) Chafin, Oklahoma City, grandsons Rowen and Tyson; daughter Heather Soloman, son Aaron (Buddy) Kerr and his daughter Sophia, Anna Maria, Florida; brother Bruce (Shelly) Kerr, Jared, Samuel, Seth and Jayd, Southern, Illinois, and Whitney Kerr, Durant and Brodie Kerr, Oklahoma City; Sister Cyndi Cox, Alyssha (Jamie) Walker, Brody Dane and Everleigh, Terrell, Texas, Jason (Gina) Cox, James and Brian, Oklahoma City, and sister Emily Kerr (Todd) Mead, and last but not least, sister Shana (Keither) Housewright, Lake Travis, Texas.
