Ellis May Kemble
March 23, 1950 - November 24, 2016

Ellis May Kemble age 66 of Ponca City, Oklahoma died Thursday, November 24, 2016 at her home in Ponca City, Oklahoma.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 28, 2016 at the Grace Memorial Chapel with the A.J. Carney officiating. Cremation will follow under the direction of the Grace Memorial Chapel.

Ellis May Kemble was born March 23, 1950 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Edmond and Rita Mae (Roy) Kemble. She grew up in Ponca City, Oklahoma and graduated from the Chilocco Indian School. Ellis also attended Haskell Indian Nations University.

In 1975 Ellis married Ellsworth Chase the Bear in Ponca City, Oklahoma to this union one son was born Jarrod. Ellis worked as a machinist at the Century Plant until her retirement. She loved spending time with her family and taking care of Ellsworth.

Survivors include one son Jarrod and wife Regina Chase The Bear of Ponca City, Oklahoma; three brothers Kenneth and Miles Kemble both of Ponca City and Steven Kemble of Oklahoma City; one sister Michelle Kemble of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren Nathaniel Chase The Bear and Lynnea Chase The Bear.

She was preceded in death by her parents one brother Newton Kemble and two sisters Angeline Kemble and Sparkle Kemble.
