Dorothy M. (Edmondson) Kelsey

August 26, 1926 ~ April 18, 2015

Funeral services for Dorothy Mae Kelsey will be Tuesday, April 21st, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Northwest Church of Christ, Quanah Parker Trailway and NW 67th St.

Dorothy passed away Saturday, April 18th, 2015 in Lawton.

She was born in Temple, OK on August 26th, 1926 to William and Minnie [Lorentz] Edmonson. She loved sewing, reading, gardening and her flowers. Her good cooking included both fried and BBQ chicken. Dorothy was famous for her orange fruitcakes during Christmas. She married Joe Frank Kelsey and spent forty-two wonderful years together. Joe passed January 3, 1988. Dorothy looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by sons, R. Joe Kelsey and wife Mary Ann of Edmond, OK., and David Kelsey and wife Becky of Elgin, Ok; daughters, Hope Mosley and husband Don of Corpus Christi, TX., and Rachel Binkley and husband Hulon of Frisco, TX.; ten grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Dorothy was preceded in passing by her husband, Joe Frank Kelsey and parents, William and Minnie Edmonson.
