Della (Guffee) Palmertree Kelly

October 21, 1951 ~ September 5, 2004

Memorial service for Della Palmertree Kelly, age 52, of Verden, Oklahoma, will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2004, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

Della Palmertree Kelly was born October 21, 1951, in Ledland, Texas. She was the daughter of Calvin and Inez [Chadrick] Guffee. She died Sunday, September 5, 2004, in Verden.

Della grew up in the Carnegie area. She has lived in Verden since 1975. She also maintained a home in Altus, Oklahoma.

She had worked at Delta Faucet in Chickasha for about 15 years. She was currently employed at the Altus Junior High School

Survivors include one daughter, Delina Palmertree, of Verden, and one son, Lee Palmertree, of Verden; her mother, Inez Guffee of Rush Springs; eight brothers, Carl Guffee, Donnie Guffee, Larry Guffee, Tommy Guffee, James Guffee, Bobby Guffee, Donnie Thomas, and Howard Thomas; five sisters, Sherry Griam, Rosa Nuckles, Mary Bentley, Bonnie Duck, and Linda Max; three grandchildren, Kyle Palmertree, David Palmertree, and Kayla Palmertree.

Services are under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home Chickasha, Oklahoma.
