OLLIE L. KEITH - Services for Mrs. Ollie L. Keith of Marietta were Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the Marietta Church of Christ with Bro. Ray Hilliard officiating. On Saturday, January 8, a service was held at 1:00 p.m. in the Putnam Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Smith, Arkansas. Officiating was Bro. Floyd Keith.
Born February 5, 1912, in Chismville, Arkansas, Mrs. Keith died January 6, 2000, in the Mercy Health Love County Hospital, Marietta, at the age of 87. She was the daughter of Austin and Eliza Henson Casey.
Mrs. Keith was married to Boyd M. Keith on November 5, 1932, at Charleston, Arkansas. Retired as a school cafeteria cook, she had made her home in Marietta since 1986, moving here from Arkansas. Mrs. Keith was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Floyd and Annie Lee Keith of Bolivar, Missouri; a daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Virgil Hilton of Marietta; a brother, Roger Casey of Fort Smith; a sister, Marie Brown of Roland; nine grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Keith was preceded in death by her husband on September 27, 1993. Interment was in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Fort Smith, with grandsons and great-grandsons serving as pallbearers. Services were directed by Kennedy Funeral Home.
