Jerry Duane Keith, 79, of Coffeyville, Kansas, died on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville.
Funeral services for Mr. Keith will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, January 13, 2020 at First Southern Baptist Church in Coffeyville, Kansas. Burial will be in Cat Creek Cemetery in Brimson, Missouri at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14. The service and burial is under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Mr. Keith was born at Linneus, Missouri on August 5, 1940, the son of Ray and Sarah Alice (Gipson) Keith. He graduated from Jamesport, Missouri High School. He and Bonita Joy Murphy were married on May 27, 1962. Mr. Keith was a Union Pacific Railroad Engineer for 43 years and enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling the United States, camping with his family, and visiting his grandchildren.
Mr. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Alice Keith, two brothers, Dal and Wilburn Keith, and one sister Grace Hudspeth.
Surviving Mr. Keith are his wife, Bonita of the home, son David of McAlester, Oklahoma, son Adam of Ft. Davis, Texas, daughter Ann Taggart of Copan, Oklahoma, grandchildren Stormy, Jeremy, Mitch, Isaac, Taylor, Everett, Matthew, and seven great grandchildren.
