Dewey “Granny” Williams Keeter, 103, went to be with the Lord on April 8, 2022, 14 days before her 104th birthday.
Dewey was born on April 22, 1918 in a one room log cabin to David H. Bentham and Julie Edgmon Benham near Christie, Oklahoma. She was the third of nine children, which included three sisters and five brothers, all who preceded her in death.
She lived in Adair County, Oklahoma where she married Roy Clifton Williams in 1936. They were blessed with six beautiful children, OmaLeta (Melvin) Smith, Carl (Gail) Williams, Nancy (Larry) Lindabury, Judy (Carson) Glenn, Donald Roy (Rosetta) Williams, and Kathy (Johnnie) Janes. She enjoyed 27 wonderful years with Roy before his passing.
Dewey continued to live in Oklahoma and found love again with Willard Keeter. They were married on August 18, 1979 and they enjoyed gardening, canning, and attended bluegrass festivals until they made their home in Farmington, AR beginning in 2000.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, her daughter OmaLeta Smith, her son Donald Roy Williams, two son-in-laws Melvin Smith and Carson Curtis Glenn, a grandson Ricky Smith, three sisters and five brothers.
She is survived by her son Carl (Gail) Williams of Westville, OK, her daughters, Nancy (Larry) Lindabury of West Fork, AR, Judy Glenn of Elkins, AR, Kathy (Johnnie) Janes of Farmington, AR, one daughter-in-law Rosetta Williams of Westville, OK, 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 31 great-great grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, special friends and neighbors.
Dewey led a long, wonderful, faith-filled life and has left a legacy of over 100 family members. We will all miss Granny dearly, but we are so grateful for the time we had with her here on earth.

Funeral Service was held 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 14, 2022 at the Roberts & Hart Funeral Home, Westville, OK.
