Ronald Lee Keene, 68, passed away Saturday August 11, 2012 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 15, 2012 in the Stumpff-Barnsdall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Anderson officiating. Cremation arrangements were provided by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
The son of Everett H. and Lois M. (Anderson) Keene, Ronald was born August 13, 1943 in Alluwe, Oklahoma. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corp serving his country during the Vietnam War. After serving his country, Ronald attended Oklahoma State University. He worked as a Car Salesman for various dealerships and had a passion for golfing. Ronald always had a smile on his face and enjoyed causing those around him to smile. He also enjoyed singing and making memories with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Everett Keene and his step-father, Claud "Hop" Long.
Ronald is survived by his mother, Lois Long of Barnsdall; four children, Jason Keene and his wife, Jennifer, of Bartlesville, Tim Keene of Bartlesville, Kristin Keene of Barnsdall and Colton Keene of Barnsdall; five brothers, Robert Long of Edenburg, Texas, Clyde Long of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Joe Lee Long of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Tom Keene of Barnsdall and Joe Keene of Pawhuska; four grandchildren, Rikki Keene, Kaitlyn Keene, Trenton Keene and Trevor Keene all of Bartlesville; numerous nieces and nephews.
