Peggy Louise Keely, age 69, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020 in Enid Oklahoma. She was born on March 5th, 1950 in Drumright Oklahoma to Homer and Calista Keely. Peggy attended college in Stillwater Oklahoma, after which she worked for a short time as a substitute teacher. Peggy went on to a 13-year career at Walmart, where she was blessed to work alongside good friends until her retirement. Beyond her dedication to her work, Peggy devoted her life to her family and to God. Peggy was not only a loving mother to her own daughter Progan, but she also poured her heart into helping to raise her nephew Louis, and her nieces Michelle, Nicki, and Rena. Peggy is survived by three generations of nieces and nephews all of whom felt her guiding hand in their lives, and will miss their Aunt Peggy more than words can describe.
Peggy is preceded in death by her beloved daughter Progan, and sister Bunny. While her family is grieved at her passing, they are comforted that Peggy is reunited with her loved ones in Heaven.
A funeral service for any wishing to honor Peggy is scheduled for 11:00 AM on Wednesday January 22nd at World Harvest Church in Enid. A private reception for Peggy's family will be held immediately following the service.
