Stanley DeLane “Stan” Keef
September 1, 1961 ~ July 22, 2023

Stanley “Stan” DeLane Keef, 61, of Newcastle, passed away on July 22, 2023, in Oklahoma City. The son of DeLane and Betty Faye (Rawson) Keef, Stan was born on September 1, 1961, in Oklahoma City.

Stan grew up and graduated from High School in Newcastle. He lived in Oklahoma City for a while but moved back to Newcastle twelve years ago. Stan worked as a Journeyman Electrician for several companies, but most recently for Delco Electric, Inc. He was married to Shirley Faye (Dungan) Keef and they had been together for the last 27 years. Stan became the dad to Shirley’s kids and absolutely loved being Poppy to all the grandchildren. He loved spending time with all the grandkids and great grandkids when they would come over for “Poppy and Mimi time.” Stan enjoyed bowling with Brookie and Elias. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

Stan is preceded in death by his father, DeLane Keef.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Faye Keef; wife, Shirley Keef; two daughters, Mandy Fields and husband Elliot and Melissa VanDeventer and husband Brad; son, Jeremy Hall and wife Shanna; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and husband Jeremiah, Emily, Adam, Cassidy, Rebecca, Joshua, Dillon, Darren and wife Emily, Breanna, and Brooklyn; great grandchildren, Ben and Elias and one on the way; sister, Karen Scott and husband Doug; niece, Mindy Scott; nephew, Bradly Scott and wife Katrina and their children Lorrie and Wyatt.

A Celebration of Life Reception to honor Stan’s life, will be held from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM, Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the Newcastle Free Will Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
