Shirley was born January 28, 1959, to Nickolas and Polly (Shanagain) Katelnikoff in Kodiak, Alaska, and passed from this life June 19, 2021, in Enid, Oklahoma.

Shirley was raised and educated in Kodiak and attended Kodiak High School. She worked a cannery company and was a dispatcher for her husband's transportation company. She married Cecil Handley in 1978 in Kodiak. In 1982 the family moved to Enid, where she and her husband owned and operated Ersco, which later became SNB Supply Company for over twenty years. She was a hard worker and if you were with her, you worked as well. She enjoyed watching and playing sports, gaming, and was always the center of Brandon's universe.

She is survived by one son, Brandon Handley, of Enid; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sisters Norma Katelnikoff and Violla Johnson; brothers Nick Katelnikoff Jr., Norman Katelnikoff, Robert Katelnikoff, and Ricky Katelnikoff; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Handley Sr., and siblings, Glenda Katelnikoff, George Katelnikoff, Charlene Katelnikoff, Jannice Katelnikoff, and Allen Katelnikoff.

Condolences and Special Memories may be shared with the family online at www.Brown-Cummings.com.
