James Henry Kassik, 68, passed away Monday, September 5, 2022. He was born September 16, 1953, to James and Joan (Frieze) Kassik in Newton, Kansas.
Jim was a loving husband, father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a retired maintenance and master locksmith for Wesley Hospital. He enjoyed movies, playing billiards, and traveling with his wife and family.
He was preceded in death by his his parents, James and Joan (Frieze) Kassik.
James is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lana (Britt) Kassik of Wichita, Kansas; daughters, Stacy (Terry) Cox, Kary Kassik-Keith, Holly Bayless; son, Curtis (Reva) Kassik; sister, Jackie Kassik; grandchildren, Trent, Shayla, Trever, Shanda, Shelby, Shawna, Trey, Travis, Kalib, Devin, Marissa, Hunter, Peyton, James, Avery, Madison and Colton; great-grandchildren, Tristen, Laycee, Ty, Chloee, Allee, Tate, Arie and Keenan, numerous other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, from 3 to 8 p.m. with family receiving from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 14, 2022, both at Prairie Trail Cowboy Church 8552 S. Broadway, Haysville, Kansas. Interment will follow at Waco Cemetery.
