Leola Faye Kanak

Feb. 3, 1920 ~ Jan. 3, 1987

Memorial service were held at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, Calif., Tuesday, Jan. 6 for Leola Faye (Lambers) Kanak. She passed away Jan. 3 at California where she had made her home for the past several years.

She was born Feb. 3, 1920 near Okemah. Mrs. Kanak attended Sunset Public School and high school at Pharoah. After her marriage to William F. Kanak in 1940 she moved to SOuthern California where she spent the remainder of her life. Her husband preceded her in death in 1984.

She is survived by one son, Ellis Cummings, Oceanside, Calif.; two daughters, Virginia Krames, Tustin, Calif., and Sharon Veltz, Calimesa, Calif; seven grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Pearl Landers, three sisters, Bessie Johnson, Roff, Sibyl Harris, Pampa, Texas, and Velma Barnett, Bakersield, Calif., and one brother, Durwood Landers, Socorro, New Mexico.

She was interred at Rose Hills Memorial Park under the direction of Emerson-Bartlett of Calimesa, Calif.
