Tommy Alan Kammerzell, 60, of Guthrie, OK passed away March 4, 2012. He was born on July 31, 1951 in Oklahoma City, OK to Kenneth A. Kammerzell and Bessie Irene Kammerzell Dighton.
Tommy attended school in Yukon, OK and college in Kansas City, KS. He held many management positions, but his favorite occupation was musician. He played many musical instruments and wrote numerous songs and lyrics; producing an album with his brother.
Tommy lived life to the fullest. His greatest passion was spreading the gospel in the most unlikely places, or as he put it, the "danger zone", and loving his children and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his step-father, Harold Dighton and his nephew Tylar Jordan Kammerzell.
He is survived by his parents, his sister Marilyn Barensprung, his brother Kendall Kammerzell, his four children Kendralyn, Tamara, Trevis, and Cheri, six grandchildren, three nieces, one nephew, and a host of friends.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 9, 2012 at Poplar & Warner Church of Christ. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
