Michael Mandel Jordan, Sr.

January 26, 1969 ~ October 13, 2008

On January 26, 1969, a baby boy was born to Beatrice Newberry Jordan and Wilford Lee Jordan. They named him Michael Mandel. At the age of 8 months, he was adopted by Dorothy [Andy] Chatman.

Michael attended Muskogee Public Schools. He enjoyed working on cars, playing video games and spending time with family and friends.

Later in life, he met and married Kimberly Bruner. To this union, three children were born.

He passed from this life on Monday, October 13, 2008.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents and a son.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his loving wife, Kimberly; a daughter, Meaira; a son, Michael Jr.; and a step-daughter, Melanie; all of the home in Muskogee; his father-in-law, Wallace Bruner, Sr.; his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, several Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, along with several, very close friends.

Michael will be greatly missed by all who knew him. You may visit "Big Mike" as he slumbers in peaceful repose at the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., on Monday from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Cremation will follow the visitation.

Friends may convey condolences and sign the online register at www.biglowfunerals.com
