Wilma Paulette Jones, daughter of Lloyd and Vida Perryman, was born January 28, 1947 in Boise, Idaho. She departed this life June 4, 2020 at the age of 73 years, 4 months and 7 days.
Paulette, as known by most, grew up in and around the Hurley Missouri area. She met the love of her life, Joe, in Hurley, Missouri and were married March 16, 1963. Life brought them to the Bristow and Slick area in 1965 and together they raised five children. Working in many facets throughout her life, Paulette spent many years with Miss Elaine’s, more commonly known as “The Garment Factory” in Bristow. Most recently she worked with Sodexo, ensuring senior meals were delivered where needed. Paulette was never one to sit idle; there was always something needing done. She frequently volunteered her time and talents to many causes throughout the community. If she could not do it, she made sure to find the right person who could. Of all the jobs held and titles earned none were more precious than that of “Mom” then later in life “Nan”. There was never a child to enter her life that did not know her as such. With love and laughter echoing the walls of her home many memories were made to be cherished. Her kitchen was always bustling; it seemed every meal was an occasion. Nan simply loved to not only cook but bake. She knew everyone’s favorite dish or dessert and rest assured if you were there, it was there. Paulette gave her life to the Lord at a young age; serving him diligently while health permitted. She studied her Bible and enjoyed playing dominos and spades. She also enjoyed her fair share of BINGO sessions as well. Above all, she leaves a legacy generations strong rooted in her love for the Lord and others.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years Joe of the Slick home; five children, Christina Wilson and husband Tom of Depew, Dena Cook of Sapulpa, Wesley Jones of Slick, Rebecca Ross and husband Gary of Munford, Tennessee and Bobby Jones and wife Whitney of Fort Worth, Texas; eleven grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; four brothers, Bill Perryman and wife Katie of Tallassee, Alabama, Junior Perryman and wife Donna of Kingfisher, Oklahoma , Dave Perryman and wife Dian of Pleasant Hope, Missouri and Ronnie Perryman and wife Teresa of Boliver, Missouri; three sisters, Debbie Robison and Husband Duane of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Betty Poarch and husband Troy of Kingfisher and Glenda Ford of Bristow, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Irma Hellard
