Michael Eugene Jones, 58, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Select Specialty Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on September 13, 1967, in Hastings, Nebraska, to the late Delmer Garst and Josephine Marie Morrell. Michael was raised in Kingfisher and Purcell, Oklahoma, and later made his home in Lebanon, Oklahoma, where he spent the remainder of his life. He was self-employed in the construction industry and was affiliated with the Baptist faith. Michael enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing and camping with his dogs Dominque and Letty Jones. He loved listening to music, had a great sense of humor, and was always ready to tell a good joke. He cherished the simple pleasures of life and the time he spent with family and friends. On February 3, 2025, he married Farrah Laverne Turner, in Sherman, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Farrah Jones of Lebanon, Oklahoma; mother-in-law; Queitha Turner of Lebanon, Oklahoma, brother-in-law; Matthew Turner and wife Chriselda of Grand Prairie, Texas and Mark Turner of Glendale, Arizona, daughters, Roxanne Pirtle of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, Paula Conover and husband Mick of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother, Todd Garst and wife Christal, of Lindsay, Oklahoma; sisters, Jamie Langford of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, and Amy Wells and husband Randy, of Las Vegas, Nevada; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Monty Garst.
