Kenneth Loyd "Jonesy" Jones, Jr.

September 11, 1957 ~ April 26, 2008

Kenneth Loyd Jones, Jr. (Jonesy) of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, April 26, 2008, in his home in the company of his loving family, after a short illness with cancer.

He was born September 11, 1957, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to Kenneth and Vivian Thurman Jones.

He was raised in Watts, Oklahoma by his loving grandmother, Mary Jones, and Aunt Linda Jackson. He later moved to Shreveport, Louisiana, where he met Jo Lynn Kelly. They were married August 1, 1977, and from this union came two sons, Kristopher and Kevin. Jo Lynn and Jonesy made their home together in West Siloam and he was proud of his three grandsons.

He was a truck driver for Ron Davis Trucking and had driven for Larry Williams Trucking. He also worked as a driver and security guard for Allen Canning Company of Siloam Springs. He loved working on old trucks and was a model car enthusiast. He was a Chevy man and his favorites were early 70s Chevy shortbed trucks.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Vivian Hayes, and grandparents, John and Mary Jones, William Thurman and Audrey Holt.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Lynn, of the home; two sons, Kris and wife, Carolyn, of Colcord, and Kevin and wife, Angela, of Watts; father and stepmother, Kenneth and Linda Jones, of Watts; two sisters, Terry Yeargain, of Siloam Springs and Teresa Bailey and husband, Steve, of Bentonville; four brothers, Max Jones and his wife, Vicky, of Kansas City, KS, Mike Jones, of Bentonville, AR, Ernest Hayes and wife, Rosa, of Siloam Springs, AR and Carl Hayes and wife, Wilma, of Sulphur Springs, AR; a special brother, Brian Hester and wife, Stacy, of Siloam Springs, AR; two brothers-in-law, John Kelly, of Colcord and Ken Kelly and wife, Tammie Jean, of Shreveport, LA; three grandsons, Kelby and Kolton Jones, of Colcord and Brodie Jones, of Watts; six aunts, seven uncles, one niece, four nephews, four great-nieces, and a host of cousins who love and miss him.

Memorial Services were held Tuesday April, 29, 2008 at the Hart Funeral Home in Westville, Oklahoma. Arrangements were made under the direction of the Hart Funeral Home.
